The idea for Sadie’s began many years ago at our kitchen sink. Frustrated with trying to treat chronic skin problems with steroid creams and ointments, we began to study natural products and their use in body care and skin care products. After many hours of research and development, a single batch of natural Lavender soap was created with the hope that this would be the product we needed. Free of the commonly used chemicals and additives that make commercial soaps aggravate and intensify skin problems, this soap was gentle, pleasant and a joy to use. We instantly fell in love with our Lavender soap as well as the process of making handcrafted soap.

For more than six years we have told customers that what makes our soaps unique is not only the wonderful ingredients we use, but also the ingredients we don’t use. Substances like sodium lauryl sulfate and other unnatural additives that frequently cause problems for certain skin types are, by design, not present in Sadie’s products. Each hand-produced product is made in small quantities to assure freshness. Inspired by our knowledge of the healing benefits of natural oils and botanicals, we have created over 250 varieties of soaps and hundreds of natural products we hope will refresh your senses and lift your spirits.
